What for, are you in disbelief or do you want to see my handsome mesmer with his foot on dungeon boss?

If it's just disbelief, remember, I didn't create this thread to boast or prove or anything, it's just a fun thread with a fun but effective build so people can try something different if they want. I certainly know I wouldn't believe anyone telling me mesmer with a scythe is good - I'd take the build, go out, and try it

ps: Just did Selvetarm NM.. and this dungeon has a lot of blind and weakness and counter blows. Makes you think twice before going melee here. But who cares, when you hit, man do you hit Once I stood there 5 seconds just watching the numbers after I hit the mob.

Not at all. I start to play GW again after a long hiatus and decided to roll a Mesmer and a Rit hoping to find my "main character". Rits are awesome without a doubt, but Mesmers have a "je ne sais quoi" thing that is very appealing to me. Can´t explain it better sorry

Exactly, and you must create a mesmer right away. Forget Ritualists - they look great, and are strong, but you'll get bored fast with them. Mesmer is a wunderkind, a prodigy. What's not to like?

I know how you feel. I have taken several breaks in the past and came back from my most recent one about a month ago. Since then, I have been playing my mesmer, my paragon, and my rit pretty equally trying to figure out which I really want to focus on. Its tough, and i am really torn right now between going disruption with my mesmer or healing/support with my rit.
